      Description:
The newly designed Circle C or Slaughter Creek Metropolitan course is very wooded, very long and very hard. There are two tees at almost every hole and if you play the Pro tees this might just be the toughest course in Austin now. There are about four or five holes that are nearly identical to the old setup, but other than that the course has changed dramatically. The tee boxes and hole markers look really good, but the course needs a lot more work in order to clear out the forest of trees on most holes. As it stands this course is much more wooded than Pease or even Searight. With some more cleaning up this could be a really great course, but the current setup will be much too hard for even good players. There are several holes over 500 feet and I believe one was over 800 feet. Add in the fact that you are constantly surrounded by trees and have almost no fairway and the holes become nearly impossible. You'll find that you either Par a hole, or you make one mistake, end up in the woods and finish the hole 5 over Par. But if you are looking for a challenge then I definitely recommend this course as you will find no shortage of it here.

      Directions:
From Central or North Austin: Take I-35 South, exit Slaughter. Take a right on Slaughter. Drive for about 5 miles on Slaughter until you pass Mopac. After that you will enter Circle C Ranch. After the first light take the next left that has an entrance. Drive past some soccer fields and parking will be on your right. Hole one is just past the little utility shed. Alternate Route:  Take Mopac south, turn right on Slaughter Ln. After the first light take the next left that has an entrance. Drive past some soccer fields and parking will be on your right. Hole one is just past the little utility shed.
