Shawnee Trails is a gem of a course located within a quiet subdivision in Northwest Plano. The course makes great use of limited space and the Park is absolutely beautiful. There are a number of "aceable" holes as well as a few trecherous holes that play around and over a very steep ravine (especially #6). The tees themselves are dirt and vandals have removed most of the information at each hole, but I was able to get around fine by myself. The highlight of this course is hole #6- it's worth a trip to Plano just to play this one hole! It's one of the prettiest, most challenging holes you'll play around Dallas and I'll leave it at that- good luck. Note: As you drive down Avenue P, drive down until you see the "Park Rules" and "Disc Golf" signs on the left and park there on the street. The tee for hole #1 is right there near the signs throwing back up Ave P. Click here for a map of the course:
